Who we are and what we do
Verbena Botanicals is a Growing Family Business that started in Vancouver Washington over 13 years ago. Many allergies stem from chemicals and colorants that are found in common bath products available in most stores. Verbena Botanicals decided to make our own soap that was free of artificial chemicals, colors and fragrances.
As friends and family became interested in natural soaps, we soon were making more soap than I thought possible, as the demand for natural and organic products grew. Since then we have grown from soap making in our little apartment kitchen to manufacturing hundreds to thousands of bars of soap in our Beaverton Washington Store and Soap Shop. Yes, we still make each Soap batch by hand, my batches have just gotten bigger as our customer base grew.
Verbena Bothaicals Organic soaps and products use recycled, reclaimed, and sustainable materials for our packaging with few exceptions.

For each product that we decide to make, we do extensive research on all of the ingredients as well as any materials that we may be using for packaging.
For us, the packaging is not secondary, but plays a crucial part in the overall experience. It doesn’t trump the importance of the product, but it’s of utmost importance that we stay as diligent in our selection of eco-friendly and sustainable materials
Verbena Botanicals itself is a movement to provide products whose quality can not be surpassed while making the least impact possible on the environment. We strive to use as much Organic and wild crafted ingredients as we possibly can, and when that is not possible we defer to the most natural ingredients available.
